Hi, i had to do just that today.
Now i know where to send the people who keep asking me to send "kill -9" signals to processes without knowing what it means nor that SIGTERM is the default because of *some pretty good* reason.

Thanks !

Hi,
In the "Logging in as a different user via SSH" section i think you should clarify the examples.
You seem to be connected on host "britannia" as user "hawkwind" but yet, you're talking about being user "tom".
Then you connect as user "cliff" to server.anothernetwork but you add an entry for user "hawkwind" in your .ssh/config file.
Not a big deal but it might be confusing ...

To be honest I've never really used VIM, I've always just used VI so I'm not sure, but I would assume you would be correct. Would certainly make sense at least.

I think the "? prev search" is not correct. The key for that is "N". "?" is searching backward.

I hate Gnome3, to quote Steven J. Vaughan-Nicoles, "I’m not the only one who looked at GNOME 3 and say this that GNOME 3.x sucks dead gophers through rusty tailpipes"

This is from the original script writer...
    -Run the script with `/bin/bash easy_e17.sh -i`.
This is from Enlightenment.org
Requirements:
    *  libc
    * libm
    * libpthread
    * zlib
    * freetype
    * fontconfig
    * opengl2.0/opengles-2 (depending on target)
    * libpng
    * libjpeg
    * libtiff
    * libgif
    * librsvg (if you want SVG support in Evas)
    * libx11
    * libxext
    * libxrender
    * libxcomposite
    * libxdamage
    * libxfixes
    * libxrandr
    * libxinerama
    * libxss
    * libxtest
    * libxdpms
    * libxcursor
    * libxprint
    * openssl
    * curl
    * libudev
    * lua
If OLD is not in the section of the script IGNORE DIRECTORIES, you should add it to that part of the script, next to e16. Do a search for e16 then add OLD next to it. Then PROTO next to that.
Exchange installs fine for me but does not function after using e17, you should remove that.
Also, the mail module, and exalt, exalt-client, and connections manager do not function for me, but build fine, even after having installed connman. I removed those. None of the python packages installed for me, I removed those and those dependent on them. Enlil had to be removed, it took too long finding the sources, also ellicit is no more, remove that. ephoto, image-viewer, and rage are all the same thing, I believe.
The script definitely need work. I think during its original creation was the only time the writer really installed enlightenment, now just adds to the script, having a three or four year old system with a lot of libraries and tools that decrease build errors.
I forgot, package e failed to build for me, says it I dont have libpng, but I have already installed it, I just reinstall libpng and start the script again and it works. Try it with libudev but install it from source.

I would think the instructions here would work on a bare minimal install of Fedora. The only thing that might be needed would be a few more dependencies to be installed. Other than that, everything else would be the same.

Unfortunately, I have no way of testing this as I've only got one system and I'm already running Fedora 16.
