LinuxForDummies a.k.a. LFD is a site dedicated to bringing you useful and helpful information with regards to the various distributions of the Linux operating system. It is run by one individual, Cliff Wade a.k.a. Hawkwind, who currently runs Fedora 16.
Over the years I have run many different distros from Mandrake, Mandriva, Slackware, PcLinuxOS and many, many others. I currently run Fedora 16 and a lot of what I post about is from personal experience. I’m also given things by users from my #LFD channel on the Freenode IRC network to post as well.
I try to post a lot of how-to’s and such things that teach users about Linux and how to use it effectively.
